Iowa Pet Adoptions is a home based, animal welfare group. We help people take homeless, community pets into their homes temporarily, until a permanent home is found. We offer as much assistance as we can. Take a moment to browse the photos of our beautiful pets.
The photos above are cropped to fit the slideshow. Be sure to visit the pet's page to see all the full size photos of the pet.
Our current adoption fee is $75 for cats and dogs, generally less for smaller animals. View the pet's page for each pet's fee. Thank you!

Woody Available for Temporary Home or Adoption Young Adult Dog - 1 to 5 Years 30 Pounds Social With Cats - Unknown Social With Dogs - Many Social With People - Enjoys People Woody is a young male, appears to be about 1 year and 30 pounds. Perhaps a Pug / Terrier mix. Solid tan, with some black around the nose. Woody is energetic and likes to play with other dogs - all the time. His ambition may annoy some dogs. He enjoys people, especially when they provide belly rubs. Woody is highly energetic and takes 15 - 30 minutes to calm down. Human family members must be assertive to teach Woody the rules of the house and to not jump on other pets or people. Woody will do best with a playful canine companion. As the videos show, Woody is aggressively playful, some would consider him naughty. If the home does not have another dog, there should be above average human companionship. Woody will not do well by himself all day. Give Woody a belly rub today! |
